Nurturing Stronger Minds: Olive Grange Foundation’s Outreach at Phaybee-Ville School, Ado-Ekiti

Phaybee-Ville School, Ado-Ekiti
6th May, 2025

In a time when today’s youth are constantly exposed to a wide range of external influences, the need for intentional moral guidance and support is more critical than ever. On 6th May, 2025, Olive Grange Foundation (OGF), in partnership with NACTAL, took this responsibility to heart by conducting an insightful outreach program at Phaybee-Ville School, Ado-Ekiti.

This program was part of OGF’s continuous mission to help children and teenagers build moral resilience, develop positive self-awareness, and learn how to navigate life’s pressures — particularly peer pressure.

Teaching the Dangers of Negative Peer Influence

Peer pressure is one of the most common factors that lead students into making poor choices — choices that can have long-term negative effects on their lives and communities. OGF’s outreach focused on helping the 143 students and 7 staff members in attendance understand:

  • What peer pressure is
  • How to recognize both positive and negative forms
  • The emotional, academic, and moral consequences of giving in to harmful influences
  • Practical ways to build confidence, make better choices, and stand firm in the face of pressure

The session included interactive discussions, real-life scenarios, and spiritual and moral guidance to help students develop the strength and clarity to resist negative peer pressure.

A Foundation Built on Faith and Guidance

As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us:
“Point your kids in the right direction—when they’re old they won’t be lost.”

At Olive Grange Foundation, we take this scripture to heart. Our programs are rooted in compassion, discipline, and moral instruction, and we believe that when children are nurtured early, they grow into adults who lead with integrity.

This outreach served as a gentle reminder to the students of Phaybee-Ville School that their choices today shape their future tomorrow — and they have the power to choose wisely.

Gratitude and Collaboration

We extend a heartfelt thank you to the leadership, staff, and students of Phaybee-Ville School for their warm reception and openness to learning. We also recognize our partners at NACTAL, and all individuals who continue to support our mission through donations, volunteer work, and prayers.

Together, we are not just educating minds — we are building a stronger, wiser generation equipped to lead with character and courage.
